On March 13, 2026, a literary and educational evening titled “Alikhan – Leader of the Nation” was held in the Red Assembly Hall of the Main Academic Building.
The purpose of the event was to promote the life and public activities of the prominent statesman and public figure of the Kazakh people, Alikhan Bokeikhanov, as well as to foster patriotism among young people.
Students of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business actively participated in the event under the guidance of library staff member B.M. Moldabayeva.
During the evening, students received extensive information about the life path, political activities, and contributions of Alikhan Bokeikhanov to the Kazakh people. In addition, slides dedicated to his life and work were presented.
In the literary section, participants recited poems on the theme of national freedom and staged performances. Patriotic songs were performed, and traditional kui musical pieces were played. Educational information was also provided about the Alash Orda government and the leaders of the Alash movement.
At the end of the evening, the Director of LIC, Zh.M. Murzabaeva, expressed gratitude to the participants and noted that the work of Alikhan Bokeikhanov in the struggle for the country’s independence remains an example for today’s generation.
