On November 25, 2025, the Library and Information Center hosted a seminar dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence and digital tools in library operations. The session was led by Zhomartuly Aset, the leading specialist in electronic resource support and maintenance.
During the seminar, participants were introduced to:
- the updated features of the “MegaPro” automated system;
- the use of the MARC21 standard in cataloging;
- the enhanced “Electronic Library” module;
- new AI tools under “Mega AI”, designed to streamline librarians’ daily tasks.
The speaker also demonstrated practical examples of using modern neural networks such as ChatGPT for preparing book exhibitions, writing annotations, selecting keywords, performing translations, and creating texts for various events.
The seminar was informative and practice-oriented, providing a valuable professional platform for library specialists.
