On December 13, the Foreign Language Literature Reading Room hosted a book exhibition titled “Independence is the foundation of an eternal nation” dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition highlights key milestones in Kazakhstan’s journey toward independence and sovereignty. It showcases materials on the history of Independence, the causes and significance of the December 16, 1986 events, and the heroic sacrifices of young people who courageously pursued democracy.
