On February 27, 2025, a lecture and a film screening were held in the reading room of foreign literature to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Austrian composer, conductor, and violinist Johann Strauss, known as the “King of the Waltz.” The lecture was delivered by Doris Zimmermann, a master’s graduate from the University of Vienna, who provided a detailed insight into the life and work of the composer.
