On December 4, an event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of renowned Austrian writer Karl Kraus was held in Study Hall No. 1 of Foreign Literature. A documentary film about the writer’s life and work was screened.
Professor B.Zh. Shpikbayeva provided a brief analysis of Karl Kraus’s novel The Last Days of Mankind (Die letzten Tage der Menschheit) and presented its content.
The event was attended by students from the Faculty of Pedagogy of our university and students from the Pedagogical College studying German.
