On November 19, 2025, an informative presentation about Alfred Adler — the Austrian psychologist, psychiatrist, thinker, and founder of individual psychology — was delivered in the Foreign Literature Reading Room.
Isabel Dettinger, an intern and master’s student from the University of Vienna, gave a visual and engaging presentation to the students about Alfred Adler’s life and works. Meanwhile, the concept of the psychologist’s theory of personality was presented by Diana Zhadorozhnaya Zholshybekkyzy, a lecturer in pedagogy and psychology at the Pedagogical College of Foreign Languages. She showed a presentation and conducted a psychological activity.
The scientific director of the Austrian Library, Professor Bakhyt Zhatkanbaevna Shpekbayeva, provided an overview of the literature available in the library’s collection about Alfred Adler.
The event, attended by students of the university’s Pedagogical Faculty and the Pedagogical College of Foreign Languages who study German, had significant educational and developmental value.
