Republic Day is an important national holiday that celebrates the independence and statehood of our country, national unity, and the shared values of our people. To mark this occasion, a book exhibition entitled “Independence Is My Foundation” was held on 21 October 2026 in the M. M. Kopylenko Reading Room.
The exhibition aims to introduce readers to the history of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the key stages in the establishment of its independence, the country’s national symbols and values, as well as to foster patriotism and encourage greater interest in the nation’s history.
The exhibition features books and informative historical publications devoted to Kazakhstan’s past and present, significant events on the path to sovereignty, the country’s achievements, and the principal stages of its development. The selected publications offer readers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their homeland’s history and appreciate the true value of independence.
