On 19-20 October Nazarbayev University hosted the 12th Eurasian Conference of Academic Libraries “Education 5.0: Challenges and Prospects for Academic Libraries”, organised jointly with the Association of University Libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Nazarbayev University Library.
The conference was attended by Asem Merekeevna Kalieva, Head of the Department of Support for Training and Research of the BIC.
The conference became a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience of academic libraries in providing a new stage of global development of education “Education 5.0”.
The conference is dedicated to the humanisation of learning, aiming to use digital transformation as a tool for social transformation, promoting less impact of human activities on the environment while improving health and safety.
The conference was attended by renowned researchers and interesting speakers. It was a platform for scientific discussions, constructive exchange of information and best practices through oral presentations.
